Senior Network EngineerThis individual will provide on going day to day support for global data network This role will serve as level 3 support for all network related support tasks and troubleshootingROLE RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructureResponsible for 3rd level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN alerts and issuesResponsible for maintenance of all monitoring and reporting systemsProduce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed/deployedPerform on call duty for non business hours support as per shift assignmentsPerform administrative tasks pertaining to time entry and status reportingConfigure and install various network devices and services (eg, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurationsMonitor performance and ensure system availability and reliabilityMonitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningWork within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructureSelect and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companyâ¿¿s security teamLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionOpen for 24x7 availabilityConduct technical trainings to internal resourcesTECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONSPossess excellent network troubleshooting skills Must be able to quickly identify and resolve network related issues in smallest possible timeMust be able to clearly interact with the customer, understand the requirements and communicate with the offshore team Must be able to participate and represent the team in change and incident management meetingsExperience with SDWAN â¿¿ Silver Peak preferredExperience with Next Gen Firewalls â¿¿ Cisco Firepower preferredExperience in troubleshooting routing loopsTroubleshoot asymmetric routing & STP loop issuesImplementation of operational changes & coordination with project team for project related changesConfiguring/troubleshooting Cisco ASA, IPSConfiguring/troubleshooting Cisco ISEConfiguring/troubleshooting wireless â¿¿ Cisco WLC preferredConfiguring/troubleshooting routing protocols â¿¿ EIGRP, OSPF, BGPConfiguring/troubleshooting LAN switching â¿¿ VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannelConfiguring/troubleshooting quality of serviceConfiguring/troubleshooting TCP/IP protocol suiteConfiguring/troubleshooting application protocols HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etcConfiguring/troubleshooting network security â¿¿ IPSec/SSL VPN/Cisco AnyConnect, rchitecture, TACACS, RADIUS, 8021xCisco Catalyst & Nexus 9K/7K series of switchesConfiguring/troubleshooting Cisco IOS, NX OS softwareConfiguring/troubleshooting of application load balancersExperience with firewall cloud services â¿¿ Zscaler preferredWorking on all applications such as SAP, Citrix, Portal, etcAnalyzing the outputs of all the tools and making recommendations example: High CPU utilization on core device at data centerAWS, GCP, Azure Cloud experience is considered a plusGENERAL QUALIFICATIONSCandidate has excellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsCandidate can communicate with the customer and be able to present solutions to peersEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSCCNP Certification RequiredBA Degree / BS Degree
