Corbus, LLC is seeking an experienced Materials Buyer Planner. As a Buyer Planner, you will be responsible for the materials plan and execution for products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fulfillment, MRP processes, supplier management, and day-to-day material and transportation follow-up. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth flow of materials and optimizing supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing: Requisition and inventory review and Purchase Order placements. Review and maintain purchasing parameters MRP Process Management: Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to analyze inventory needs, ensure timely replenishment, and reduce excess stock. Supplier Management: Coordinate schedule changes and alignment with suppliers and relay commits for Clear to Build needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Resolve payment issues by working closing with supply chain team and supplier. Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data and supplier performance metrics to identify trends, make recommendations for improvements, and report on material costs. Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and sales teams to align material supply with operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, or supply chain management. Strong understanding of MRP systems and processes. Proven experience in purchasing, supplier negotiation and relationship management. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field. Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus. Experience in Manufacturing SAP user. LEAN DNA user.
