About the Position: One position is located at Bassett Army Community Hospital, Fort Wainwright Alaska. One position is located at Soldier Centered Medical Home, Fort Richardson Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for candidates new to Federal service. Location and Environment Fort Wainwright is situated in Interior Alaska, within the Fairbanks North Star Borough, between the Alaska Range and the Brooks Range. It borders the City of Fairbanks to the west and North Pole to the southeast, with the Chena River running through it. Major Duties: Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to develop behavioral health interventions. Provide evidence-based treatments, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches. Communicate regularly with primary care providers and staff regarding patient status and care recommendations. Implement psychoeducational classes targeting common diagnoses in primary care. Document patient encounters in the electronic health record. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

US Citizens Applicants must meet education and experience requirements, including relevant volunteer work, with clear documentation in their resumes. Transcripts are required if qualifying through education. Basic Requirement:

Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in clinical psychology. Specialized Experience:

At least one year of experience conducting behavioral health assessments, providing treatments, and working in a multidisciplinary team, typical of a GS-12 level position. Education cannot substitute for experience in this case. Education Foreign education must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency through a recognized organization.
