Coinbase is seeking a

Senior Product Designer

for their

Developer Platform (CDP)

team. This team is responsible for building tools and infrastructure that enable developers to seamlessly interact with blockchain technology. The goal is to simplify and improve the developer experience by creating trusted APIs, SDKs, dashboards, and other tools that make blockchain development faster and more reliable. As a

Senior Product Designer , you will be integral in shaping the future of Coinbase's developer ecosystem. You’ll design intuitive, user-centered products that cater to technical users, including CLI tools, APIs, SDKs, and documentation. Your work will directly impact how developers build on Coinbase's blockchain platform. Key Responsibilities

Design End-to-End Experiences : Work on developer-facing products, including CLI tools, APIs, dashboards, documentation, and integration flows. Prototyping : Use tools like

Framer ,

Figma , or even

code

to create prototypes that help visualize and communicate new ideas. Collaboration : Partner with engineering and product management teams to define product direction and ensure cohesive user experiences. Developer Advocacy : Identify pain points in the developer journey and simplify complex systems into intuitive interfaces. Defining Design Language : Help define the visual and interaction patterns for Coinbase's developer ecosystem. What Coinbase is Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience

in designing digital products, with a strong portfolio that showcases

user-centered design

and high-quality work. Experience designing for developers

or technical users, including

APIs ,

SDKs ,

dashboards , or

internal tools . Ability to work in ambiguous situations and distill complex technical concepts into

elegant design solutions . Strong

communication

and

storytelling

skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around design decisions. Nice to Haves:

Experience with open-source projects

or contributing to them. Familiarity with

crypto

or

onchain

concepts like

wallets ,

smart contracts , or
