Req#: 80776 Position Description: Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. For more than 25 years, we have continued to grow and now operate coast-to-coast with more than 11,000 employees. Our experience spans over 60 years, giving us a competitive edge and making us a leader in the midstream space. We believe our people are key to our success and should share in it. Primary Purpose: The Director of Commercial Scheduling in the KM Midstream Scheduling group is responsible for overseeing all aspects of scheduling and allocation processes for Natural Gas (lean and rich) and NGLs in a predominantly non-FERC regulated environment. The environment is dynamic, with diverse assets and personnel, and a large reporting structure. Essential duties and responsibilities: Monitor transportation, storage, purchase, and sales activities of lean Natural Gas. Oversee gathering, processing, and fractionation activities of rich Natural Gas. Manage NGL product movement via pipeline, trucking, rail, and barge to ensure continuous plant operations. Handle imbalance management daily and monthly, focusing on mitigating price exposure, and participate in negotiating Operator Balancing Agreements. Coordinate with customers and third-party pipelines (intrastate and interstate) to manage nominations and gas flow. Maintain the Proprietary Storage Reporting function. Provide accurate and timely volume reports to senior management. Participate in Daily Operations meetings to stay informed of outages or disruptions and respond appropriately. Coordinate outages with gas control, field operations, customers, and facility operators. Ensure successful monthly close processes, accurate invoicing, and statements for the department. Promote practices and procedures that encourage teamwork and decision-making while reducing uncertainty. Lead system integrity projects aimed at automation, data analytics, and efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations (e.g., SOX, TX RRC, FERC, CRE). Oversee reporting, including pipeline L&U. Participate in the Annual Performance Review process. Mentor and lead a team of approximately five direct reports and additional indirect reports.
