Description The Senior Associate Director, Payor Access Marketing, is responsible for developing and deploying brand and TA-focused strategies and tactics that deliver a positive experience with payor customers, leading to optimal brand access. She/he will ensure payor strategies and tactics align with brand/customer experience objectives and strategies, serving as the primary point for developing programs and delivering tactics for the IBP. This position partners with Brand, Contracting, HEOR, Pricing and Contract Strategy, Access Solutions, and other members of Payor Solutions Marketing to ensure cross-disciplinary alignment. They will collaborate with other Payor Access Marketing team members across TAs to ensure a seamless and consistent BI approach to customer interactions, enhancing the customer experience. Additionally, they will work closely with Payor Sales to provide support, gather customer insights, and develop training to enable the Payor Sales team to execute TA and brand strategies effectively. The incumbent manages vendors and agencies to develop payor messaging and tactics, including branded sales/promotional tools, conventions, PR/media, web strategies, and launch planning. They will also work with A&I to generate insights and ensure proper reporting and data monitoring to identify trends and make recommendations based on data analysis. The role also involves executing integrated engagement strategies via non-personal promotion through sales representatives.

This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support payor strategy development and lead the execution of key strategic initiatives and materials to support Payor Sales.

Provide recommendations and adjustments at the channel level to align with Brand and Payor strategies.

Offer account-level consultation with Payor Sales.

Manage projects proactively, organizing activities to leverage marketplace trends, opportunities, and business needs.

Manage agencies and vendors.

Gain HPRC approval for materials as required.

Project manage strategic work streams, seeking opportunities to improve collaboration and execution to enhance customer experience.

Lead training and tactical roll-out of strategies to Payor Sales.

Collaborate closely with Contracting, Payor and Contract Strategy, and Access Solutions to ensure alignment across various strategies and objectives.

Provide direction to stakeholders to address any gaps in alignment.

Manage payor data and reporting, serving as the primary interface with A&I and Market Access for reports and data.

Identify gaps and recommend marketing research initiatives.

Support a performance-based culture with clear accountability and urgency.

Provide clear direction to support teams and ensure stakeholder alignment.

Collaborate across TAs to improve the customer experience with BI.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred.

6+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 3 years in US pharmaceutical marketing or relevant managed markets experience.

Experience working with digital partners to develop and execute initiatives (e.g., Google, third-party media providers, social media platforms) is strongly preferred.

Experience in digital analytics and metrics-based optimization is strongly preferred.

Customer-facing experience in managed markets (e.g., Account Management) is preferred.

Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.

Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

Proven ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.

Ability to travel, including overnight stays.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

Willing to undergo a drug test and post-offer physical if required.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
