Science & Technology (S&T) Coordinator
to support the Office of Naval Research, Warfare Performance Department in Arlington, VA.

Role Overview The Warfighter Performance Department, Code 34, focuses on creating, maturing, and transitioning knowledge products and technologies to enhance naval operations. The research investments are primarily in human and biological systems, artificial intelligence, and autonomy. As S&T Coordinator, you will manage and align research efforts to meet Navy operational needs, primarily focusing on coordination rather than direct research execution.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of scientists and engineers working on Government contracts related to ONR S&T programs.
Oversee daily activities and ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
Provide guidance and strategic direction in life sciences, social sciences, or human-systems integration.
Implement process improvements and training programs for junior staff.
Coordinate outreach events to promote research efforts.
Develop and synthesize technical reports for senior government executives.
Collaborate with ONR program officers and science advisors on S&T technology development.
Support Government Senior Executives with briefings, reports, and materials.
Note: Position contingent upon contract award.
Require current TS-SCI Clearance and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Qualifications include a PhD or ScD with five years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with ten years of relevant experience in disciplines such as biology, physiology, neuroscience, psychology, or human-systems integration.
Understanding of the Naval Research Enterprise and demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience supporting Government Senior Executives and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred certifications include DAWIA, FAC-P/PM, or PMP, with prior DoD or DON experience and experience with Navy S&T programs.
Experience with handling classified information is also required.
