Base pay range $168,000.00/yr - $252,000.00/yr

AMD together we advance Sr Manager, Product Development Engineering The Role

Lead and manage a team of test engineers responsible for product development activities on AMD products.

Ensure the delivery of test coverage, test flow, characterization, and implementation from wafer sort through pack out to meet business requirements.

Develop and maintain test plans and documentation, including hardware specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Establish pre-silicon test requirements and drive design verification deliveries.

Execute characterization and test plans on new silicon.

Deliver test programs and debug support during NPI through production ramp.

Drive yield and quality improvements across wafer sort, final test, and system level test.

Ensure the product meets customer quality and company yield, test time, and schedule requirements.

Provide supervision and coaching to team members.

Preferred Experience

Managing a team.

Developing tests, patterns/vectors, timing, and diagnostics on Automated Test Equipment (e.g., 93K, T2K).

Understanding semiconductor process, packaging, test technologies, DFT features, product characterization, and test point optimization.

Experience with XP, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.

Statistical analysis and Pareto analysis for debugging.

Experience presenting to director-level management.

Experience in system-level testing is an asset.

Education B.S./M.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field/experience.
