Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position provides governance and oversight to the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program by ensuring the program’s published policy, standards, procedures, job aids, controls, and operating metrics are effectively managed and aligned with regulatory requirements and risk management strategies. The position includes analysis of highly complex aspects of the ITAM program, evaluation of process effectiveness, identification and facilitation of improvement opportunities, and handling special projects as needed. The role collaborates daily with peers, process domain leads, risk lines of business, senior leadership, or stakeholders, serving as an ITAM governance partner and subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

Governance and Oversight:

Provides governance and oversight to ITAM processes. Reviews documentation, identifies opportunities, and facilitates actions.

Control testing:

Establishes practices for routine sampling and testing of ITAM controls, partnering with the ITAM domain to resolve improvements.

Data Analysis:

Sources, compiles, and interprets data, communicating findings effectively.

Metrics & Reporting:

Ensures quality of metrics and reports, identifies patterns and areas for improvement, and recommends new metrics.

Communication:

Prepares documentation, leads training sessions, demos, and presentations for ITAM teams and stakeholders.

Special projects:

Leads or supports projects to address process gaps, introduce new capabilities, or research initiatives.

Leadership:

Demonstrates leadership, mentors team members, and promotes continuous learning.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling, or Reporting OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.

Preferred Skills

Proven knowledge of IT Asset Management, including ServiceNow modules.

Familiarity with FFIEC, ITIL, NIST, COBIT frameworks.

Experience in large financial institutions, M&A, and defining ITAM policies.

Excellent communication, analytical skills, and experience working in agile environments.

Experience with tools supporting ITAM processes (e.g., Archer, Jira, iCertis, Coupa) is a plus.
