Position Summary: Anistar is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will work under general supervision, maintaining a highly analytical and problem-solving mindset, working as a team player, and possessing the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager is accountable for effective project management and delivery. They will develop program schedules, establish milestones, and ensure all financial and schedule targets align with client goals. They will identify and acquire necessary resources, revising plans as needed. Evaluate proposed materials for constructability and feasibility during pre-construction. Oversee and prepare cost estimates at various stages. Coordinate design efforts and value engineering. Schedule projects logically, budgeting time to meet deadlines. Determine labor needs and dispatch workers. Coordinate travel for technicians. Work with the superintendent to oversee on-site activities. Inspect and review projects for compliance with codes and regulations. Interpret plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients. Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions, and manage relationships with designers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Obtain permits and licenses. Supervise team members both in the office and on-site. Study job specifications to determine construction methods. Solicit, negotiate, and oversee material suppliers and subcontractors. Requisition supplies and materials. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress, and cost reports. Develop and implement quality control programs. Address delays, weather issues, or emergencies at construction sites. Discuss and resolve work procedures, complaints, and problems with stakeholders. Plan, organize, and direct construction and maintenance activities. Investigate damages, accidents, or delays, ensuring proper procedures. Evaluate construction methods for cost-effectiveness. Manage contract changes and communicate effectively. Develop and maintain project schedules and financial plans. Complete all project management documentation and reports. Train and develop project team members. Handle invoicing, equipment, and material purchasing. Review job cost postings for accuracy, including invoicing and financial reporting. Manage safety, quality assurance, and logistics programs. Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and discipline project staff. Address human resource issues per company policies. Coordinate with internal and external partners. Proactively communicate project status and risks. Prepare and implement corrective actions. Act as the company liaison to the client, maintaining high satisfaction and collaboration. Be actively present on-site for project management responsibilities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management, or similar experience. 15+ years of experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling. Proven track record delivering mission-critical projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience in contract negotiation and administration. Experience leading and building teams. Skills in coaching, mentoring, and vendor management. Strong organizational and coordination skills across disciplines. Client engagement experience in similar projects. Knowledge of project management fundamentals such as earned value management, SPI, CPI. PMP or equivalent certification preferred. BICSI RCDD or similar telecommunications certifications preferred.
