Exempt The Utility-scale Development team at RWE Clean Energy manages the initiation, development, and acquisition of utility-scale Solar, Wind, and Energy Storage projects across the US and Canada. The
VP, Development and Digital Optimization
oversees Portfolio Management, Process, and Digital Optimization to ensure development excellence through to Commercial Operation Date (COD). Role Responsibilities: Report to the SVP, Head of Utility-scale Development, and be part of the management team alongside other Regional VPs Manage Portfolio of the Pipeline and Development Operations, monitor KPIs, coordinate approvals, and report across departments Refine and synchronize End-to-End Development processes across departments and integrate into Digital Tools Manage Development Partnerships and JV Governance for 5+ partnerships Develop, integrate, and improve Digital Tools such as Salesforce, SiteTracker, GIS, and Irthland Lead Annual / Quarterly Budget Forecasting for a 40+GW Pipeline Job Requirements and Experiences: Bachelor's degree in STEM, business/economics, or relevant fields required; advanced degree preferred Minimum 15-18 years of relevant experience, including renewable energy project development in the US Experience managing digital tools and development pipelines Strong knowledge of energy markets, real estate development, interconnection, permitting, environmental issues, engineering, and construction management Proficiency with digital development tools: Site Tracker, Salesforce, GIS, Land Management Excellent project management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple teams and tasks, work independently and collaboratively Willingness to travel 30%+ and visit various offices and sites Pay Range:
$216,000 - $324,000 annually, depending on location and experience. Compensation factors include scope, education, experience, skills, and market conditions. Benefits:
