The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to leverage their existing network and drive substantial revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual who can bring an established book of accounts to tap into immediately. Responsibilities include developing and nurturing client relationships across various sectors, handling public bids, and managing box sales.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage existing network to identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse sectors. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with clients by providing exceptional service and tailored AV solutions. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction. Stay abreast of the latest AV trends and technologies, effectively communicating technical information to clients. Collaborate with the technical team to design customized AV solutions and prepare accurate and compelling quotes. Prepare and submit competitive bids for public sector and corporate projects. Work closely with the installation team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Provide exceptional customer service, respond to inquiries promptly, and resolve any issues effectively. Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the AV industry or a related field. Ability to bring a book of accounts and tap into existing relationships. Strong drive to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Genuine passion for building lasting partnerships with clients. Ability to quickly learn and understand complex AV technologies. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and wearing multiple hats. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Primarily motivated by commission-driven income and sees the value in a compensation plan that rewards exceptional performance. Desire to work in a small business environment and contribute to its growth.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, requiring frequent travel to client sites. The candidate is expected to attend weekly team meetings in the office on Mondays and work from the office on other days when not on the road, with approximately one day a week of remote work.
