Program Analyst
will assist the U.S. Marshals Service’s (USMS’s) Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) management and other staff members with operations as assigned. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI). Responsibilities: Gather and organize information from various sources such as records, computer files, previous studies, interviews, accountable property, etc. Prepare and edit various kinds of written correspondence. Review and analyze documents submitted for completeness and accuracy, including invoices and financial documents. Work in teams on special projects to accomplish program goals. Research and provide accurate information to carry out program policies. Prepare statistical analyses and evaluate program performance related to operations. Assist in fund transfer using USMS databases. Develop and maintain logs and databases to track activities. Provide administrative support to USMS divisions.
