Automation Engineer Sr

to join our

Manufacturing Facility

based in

Paris, IL.

This candidate will work with multiple departments to improve efficiency of internal logistics - specifically focused on new technologies such as autonomous robots and automated storage and retrieval systems, existing process integration and development of new methods and concepts. Your Priorities While working within the fast-paced automotive environment, you will provide leadership, technical guidance, and training to other team members. Manage and coordinate internal logistics improvement projects in collaboration with engineering teams at all NAL Manufacturing facilities to improve effectiveness, quality, and cost. Communicate with management, engineering, and other colleagues to ensure that best practices are shared across the organization. Work with NAL management locations to ensure unified direction and consistent progress towards short and long-term goals for internal logistics. Develop and implement internal logistics processes, procedures, and standards. Stay current with industry advancements and state-of-the-art equipment technology and processes. Your Background Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline plus 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in implementation of automation within manufacturing. Experience with logistics/material handling equipment and processes within manufacturing and automotive parts manufacturing is preferred. Salary Range:
