Sierra Donor Services (SDS) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us in saving lives! Our mission at DCIDS is to save lives through organ donation, and we want professionals who embrace this important work. We are looking for an Organ Procurement Manager responsible for managing organ recovery activities and providing leadership to clinical recovery teams. Prior experience in the OPO field is required. Company Overview and Mission For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has led efforts to end the transplant waiting list. Our approach enables nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues, maintaining close community ties. DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also support the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. Our success is measured by how we serve donor families and recipients. We aim to extend the reach of each donor’s gift through technology and community engagement, ensuring all feel welcome and safe, reflecting our values of fairness, belonging, and forward thinking. Key Responsibilities: Serve as Administrator On Call to guide staff through organ donation processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Manage call schedules to maintain adequate staffing. Collaborate with Medical Directors and Medical Advisory Committee on policy and practice updates. Support recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives. Provide onsite hospital support as needed, including case activity and First Assist duties.
