The Compliance and IT Security Analyst serves as a critical link between the Compliance and IT Security Departments, ensuring alignment of internal controls, data protection, risk management, supporting BCPDR testing and audit readiness. This role focuses on internal risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and preparation for cybersecurity frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST 800-53/CSF and HiTrust. The liaison will facilitate cross functional communications, document controls and processes, monitor remediation efforts and contribute to ongoing security and compliance posture improvements. This role involves working closely with our Compliance Officer, Compliance teams and IT Information Security teams conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and providing training to staff on compliance and security-related topics. Also, coordinating with various departments to maintain a secure and compliant environment. ensuring that our organization adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. Key Responsibilities Support the development, implementation, of compliance and security programs procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulatory requirements. Assist in conducting and coordinating regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies. Work with IT and Compliance teams to identify, track and remediate risk gaps related to information security and privacy. Support implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks (SOC2, NIST HITRUST). Monitor changes in regulations or frameworks and translate them into actinal internal policies. Act as a bridge between Compliance and IT/Security to ensure clear communications of compliance goals, controls, and responsibilities. Coordinate with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes. Assist with incident response planning and the investigation of security breaches. Provide training and support to organization on policies and best practices. Stay current with new regulatory requirements and emerging security threats. Assist with conducting testing of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Compliance. Relevant certifications a plus, CISSP, HITRUST CCSF, CISA Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and hands on industry standard experience (e.g., Compliance, HIPAA, SOC2 NIST, HITRUST, ISO 27001. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and project management skills. Comfortable using GRC tools and documentation platforms, (JIRA, Confluence) Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team. Compensation Annual Salary Range*: $97,200 - $129,600 per year Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education, and/or skill level. * The hourly or salary range is the range Warner Pacific in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
