An up and coming multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to hire a Trading Systems Developer to support the growth of its systematic trading business. The firm trades globally across multiple asset classes and investment approaches, and operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where technology is central to investment success. This role is critical to the firm's continued expansion and will work directly with investment teams to launch new systematic strategies and enhance the proprietary trading platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience developing cross-asset, systematic, or high-frequency trading systems, with strong expertise in C++ and Python. Prior experience with OMS/EMS infrastructure, FIX protocol, and market data systems is highly desirable. *This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship* Responsibilities: Collaborate with investment teams to develop infrastructure for new systematic strategies Design and maintain high-performance trading and order management systems Build and improve backtesting and simulation frameworks for automated strategies Implement real-time market data processing and integration Develop and optimize straight-through-processing (STP) systems Enhance and maintain trading platform performance and reliability
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in trading system or low-latency software development Proficiency in Python for scripting and systems integration Experience with strategy automation and backtesting environments Knowledge of EMS/OMS architectures and STP workflows Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience Seniority level
