PMP/PMI NEED LOCAL CANDIDATES Responsibilities: Provide project management consultation to the DHS security team. Work closely with other project managers, vendors, business analysts, architects, developers, and subject matter experts on the agency systems support teams. Plan and create audit/compliance project schedules, monitor progress, assess work, and ensure completion in conformance with policies. Assist in identifying effective strategies during project initiation and develop management tools during planning. Monitor performance during execution and report project status, milestones, and risks. Verify project deliverables and conduct lessons learned sessions at project end. Support Project Management Office policies and processes. Required Skills: Leading projects with information security or compliance focus (within last 3 years). Knowledge of NIST 800-53, IRS Pub 1075 standards. Hands-on experience with MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint 2013, MS O365. Experience leading or coordinating vendor-managed/audit projects in the last 3 years. Experience working in state government. PMP certification from PMI or equivalent (must upload certification).
