You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, modifications, nondisclosure agreements, terms and conditions, and other contract related documents Act as end-to-end point of contact throughout the contract management process, escalading to leadership when necessary Provide active assistance to the project teams in the management, execution, and resolution of issues related to contract/project management and accounting (e.g. contract type, cost allowability, payment/milestone schedules, inspection/acceptance criteria, other terms) You will serve as subject matter expert on interpretation of FAR/ DFARS clauses and contractual provisions Maintain comprehensive and reliable contract and subcontract records (e.g. proposals, contracts, correspondence, modifications) Develop and maintain effective business relationships with customers Closely collaborate with project teams and business operations departments You will support proposal preparation, including examination of solicitation requirements, cost/pricing requirements, and analyzing terms and conditions to adequately assess risks in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications Occasional travel: less than 10% Other duties assigned You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, accounting or related field Professional Contract Management Certification (CPCM, CFCM) At least 5 years of experience in contract management with government contracts & pricing Your contract Management Software experience is a plus Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and hands-on experience with a variety of contract types including FFP, T&M, Cost/Cost-Plus) Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate contractual language You are able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic, high-performance team to proactively resolve contractual issues Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Microsoft Teams You have strong attention to detail Ability to obtain a USPS Sensitive Security Clearance
Eligible applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
