$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr The Assistant Project Manager will support the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects by assisting with scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and documentation. This role offers hands-on experience in all phases of project delivery, requires large Project experience. Our client is a well-established, employee-owned general contractor with a strong presence in the Southeast and multiple offices nationwide. Known for its commitment to quality, safety, and community involvement, the company has a robust pipeline of repeat clients and a strong track record in ground-up construction-particularly in the light industrial and mission-critical data center sectors. Description Assist in managing day-to-day project operations both in the field and office Support project scheduling, procurement tracking, and cost control processes Collaborate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation Help manage contracts, change orders, and project billing Participate in jobsite meetings and help ensure safety compliance Contribute to quality control and project closeout procedures Profile 3-5+ years of construction experience, ideally with some exposure to data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial projects Ground-up construction experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficient in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) Willingness to travel and support nationwide projects Job Offer Competitive Salary - Between $110,000 to $130,000 Sign-on bonus and 50% target bonus Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Car allowance and gas reimbursement Negotiable PTO + paid sabbatical every 5 years (up to $10K bonus) Ongoing career development and promotion potential Engaging company culture with strong community involvement Opportunity to work on high-profile, complex data center builds
