Job Summary: The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance of MEP systems within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role involves overseeing the implementation of quality control processes, facilitating cross discipline coordination, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful integration and functionality of MEP systems in projects. In this role, you will be responsible for: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans specific to MEP systems in alignment with industry standards and project requirements. Monitor MEP designs for adherence to established quality processes and specifications. Identify, document, and address defects or non-compliance issues found in design documents and construction materials. Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement corrective action plans. Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, reviews, and findings Generate clear and detailed reports summarizing quality control outcomes. Work closely with MEP teams and project managers to ensure effective system integration across project phases. Participate in coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and optimize system placement. Continuously evaluate and improve MEP quality control processes using industry best practices and emerging technologies. Design and deliver training programs to project teams on MEP quality standards, procedures, and regulatory compliance. You will be a great fit if: You have proven experience in MEP quality control or a similar role within the AEC industry. You have thorough knowledge of MEP systems, equipment, installation practices, and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, etc.). You are proficient in using MEP-related software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Certifications related to MEP quality control, such as CQM (Certified Quality Manager) or equivalent, are advantageous. You have your bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or experience in the on-site construction management is preferred but not required. Skills/abilities: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
