We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility. Job Summary This position will lead a professional technical staff responsible for distribution grid planning activities associated with the electric distribution system including: Forecasting load growth on the distribution system including data center growth, evaluating options including non-wires alternatives (“NWA”) to handle the anticipated load growth, and initiating projects necessary to meet forecasted demand. Project scoping for existing and new feeder and substation projects to address future data center load demand. Scoping includes design requirements, material specifications, engineering calculations, contractual cost studies, and target dates. Support implementation of software platforms and dashboard development to improve upon accuracy of project data and performance metric tracking. Supporting storm restoration activities as assigned. Specific duties of the Supervisor-Electric Distribution Grid Planning will include: Leading a technical team that performs long range electric distribution grid planning for all company distribution feeders and substations through load forecasting, engineering calculations and studies, and interaction with internal and external customers such as data centers. Providing project solutions such as building new or expanding or refurbishing existing electric distribution infrastructure or NWA project solutions to ensure safe and reliable operation of the system. Providing guidance and mentoring on technical issues, including complex load and reliability planning. Communicating, meeting, and collaborating with external customers (e.g., data centers). Developing and implementing strategies to support the department and the Company. Assisting in setting and meeting department goals. Assisting in managing department budgets. Providing feedback and performance reviews for assigned employees. Assigning work activities to ensure timely and accurate completion. Applying highly specialized knowledge in providing training and mentoring to new team members and overseeing employee development. Supporting storm restoration activities as necessary. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

7+ years of Electric Transmission or Electric Distribution utility engineering experience. In-depth knowledge of engineering theories and principles related to power engineering and the design and operation of electric distribution systems. Demonstrated leadership, team building and coaching skills. Knowledge of business/financial matters. Proven decision making and complex problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to process information quickly, effectively and manage multiple tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills (including technical writing). Strong conflict resolution skills. Strong planning, organizing, and project management skills. Strong computer skills. Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Discipline(s): Engineering Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
