Job Description Come to work each day with an inclusive and collaborative business technology team. As a Business Systems Analyst in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you will have opportunities to lead and contribute to projects that impact patients and their communities for the better. Responsibilities Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Utilize appropriate tools to collect, correlate, and analyze data; maintain technical system and SDLC documentation and training materials. Conduct tests and develop preliminary findings. Apply standard information systems theories, concepts, and techniques. Adhere to AbbVie system standards and procedures. Manage projects according to scope and milestones. Complete tasks assigned by senior analysts and managers. Determine approaches and solutions within scope. Guide technical teams and less experienced staff. Develop solutions to problems within system applications where issues are identified and precedents exist. Apply analytical skills to diagnose and recommend solutions for systems. Incorporate business and technological knowledge. Translate user discussions into business requirements. Identify needs and recommend solutions. Assist with testing strategies and develop preliminary findings. Analyze departmental processes and needs; recommend effective solutions. Simplify work procedures and job methods where possible. Work independently, making technical decisions and judging performance based on results. Ensure minimal supervision for routine tasks. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve organizational goals. Participate actively in meetings with suggestions and leadership qualities. Exercise latitude in problem-solving approach. Review work for soundness and achievement of objectives. Errors may cause delays or resource expenditure. Complete regular assignments with minimal supervision. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of technical experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years of experience. Experience as a Business Systems Analyst. IT system ownership and implementation experience. Project management experience. Vendor relationship management experience. Preferred: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Background in life sciences and healthcare. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Experience working within GxP guidelines.
