Job Summary: $30K start incentive, insurance on your first day, malpractice with tail, PSLF Program! The Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine division at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is seeking a board-certified/eligible physician with a desire to do advanced procedures to enhance its growing Pulmonary Critical Care team. This full-time opportunity combines outpatient pulmonary care, inpatient pulmonary/critical care, and procedural time.

This position offers the opportunity to engage with the Geisinger Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, contributing to the education and mentorship of fellows rotating through our program. Job Duties
Key Responsibilities: Support growth of the bronchoscopy program, including navigational bronchoscopy at our sister campus (Geisinger Community Medical Center). A typical month to promote work/life balance includes no more than 2 weeks of inpatient service (1 week ICU, 1 week consults) and 1 weekend. The remaining time is shared between PTO/CME, procedural time, and outpatient clinic. A typical clinic day consists of 6 hours of patient contact and 2 hours of administrative/discretionary time. Provide state-of-the-art care for conditions such as lung cancer, infections, pleural diseases, COPD, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, and drug-induced lung diseases. Access to lung nodule program, home ventilation program, pulmonary hypertension, advanced sarcoid clinic, interstitial lung disease, and Sleep Medicine program. Procedures & Teaching Opportunities:
Perform advanced procedures: EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy. Contribute to teaching with Geisinger's Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship, hosting four fellows/year, plus Sleep Medicine fellows, residents, and medical students. Participate in scholarly activities, committees, research, and interdisciplinary programs with Tumor Board (Thoracic Surgery and Oncology) at both cancer centers. Engage in weekly case conferences, journal clubs, didactics, and pathology conferences. Receive both clinical and academic titles at Geisinger College of Health Sciences. Opportunities for career development including MBA, leadership certifications, and education certifications. Participate in mentored grant-funded research. What We Offer:
