This position reports to the Sr. Director, Product and Marketing Management, Retail Solutions business unit. Product Marketing
Be the marketing organization's go-to expert team on the roadmap, features, functions, use cases and target users while owning creation and maintenance of a relevant, differentiated, compelling product positioning and messaging framework. Public-facing representative for assigned product. Conduct live demos, present your product when called upon, and be ready to engage both partners and customers directly to solicit their feedback and experiences to enrich your knowledge - and their perceptions of your portfolio. Develop, own and execute a marketing plan for the assigned portfolio. Working with marcom and cross-functionally, build a comprehensive plan that links all new products/features/functions, campaigns, events, and sales plays with content, coverage and communications channels - offering a single view to everything done to bring the product to market - and then report back on the results. Maintain brand standards and ensure brand messaging is aligned across all marketing and communications channels. Plan successful lead generation campaigns. Commercialization
Understand personas and customer journey maps. Quantity customer pain points and articulate product value and the “reasons to believe.” Develop sales enablement tools that help channel partners our Sales team be successful. Plan and execute distributors training. VOC
Collect and understand major customer and general market product/services needs/feedback (VOC) and how they tie to revenue and margin growth opportunities. Articulate prioritized customer needs back to the organization so they can feed the product roadmaps. Conduct, document and maintain competitive intelligence analysis of regional pricing. Conduct, document and maintain competitive intelligence analysis of regional marketing. Build & embed segmentation and personas work. Develop and get buy in for regional strategy. Leadership and Collaboration
Contribute to channel and sales strategies to ensure achievement of business growth objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure internal alignment to support marketing initiatives and growth strategies. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in strategic product marketing Device management, IOT, payment ecosystem knowledge or exposure (desired) C-store or retail market understanding (desired) Motivated individual with the desire to learn and develop.
