We seek an inspirational leader to grow our Rail Infrastructure team, win work, and deliver high-profile transit projects in New England and across the US. Responsibilities include contract administration, ensuring client requirements are met, regulatory compliance, and fostering a high-performance, collaborative team. You will oversee project teams in tracks, systems, and infrastructure, and lead business development activities such as presenting capabilities, establishing client relationships, and securing new work. You will be responsible for service quality, client satisfaction, staff utilization, marketing, company reputation, contract management, billing, collection, and project delivery. Coordination with other Jacobs offices will also be part of your role. Professional development responsibilities include: Managing railroad engineering and project development activities. Handling projects of significant complexity requiring innovation. Supervising support staff. Recruiting to grow the team. Maintaining client contact and relationships with engineering and architectural firms. Providing operational supervision and technical guidance. Monitoring project progress through reviews. Assisting in contract proposals. Leading project teams and delegating responsibilities. Developing work plans and staffing for project phases. Fostering positive client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Representing Jacobs at meetings and public hearings. Reviewing financial and delivery schedules. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, PE license, extensive experience as a Project Manager or Group Leader in rail infrastructure, technical knowledge of rail disciplines, and experience with Northeast transit clients. Mentorship and leadership skills are essential. Jacobs offers comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, 401(k), stock options, paid time off, holidays, and performance bonuses.
