Jr. Criminal Defense Associate (Misdemeanor Experience Required)
At The Nieves Law Firm, APC, we believe in creating trusting relationships with clients. Our mission is to restore the reputations of those accused of crimes and help them plan for the future. We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with experience in a private criminal defense setting or a Public Defender's office. Candidates with jury trial, preliminary hearing, and felony experience are preferred, but we are willing to coach hardworking and committed team members who have at least 1 year of exposure to criminal law and restraining order concepts. Candidates must be high-energy and willing to hit the ground running. The right candidates will be able to manage their time and cases effectively. This is a fast-paced position, but it is ideal for someone committed to providing quality service to every client at all times, regardless of pace. We seek candidates who work hard to produce excellent results. Strong oral and written advocacy skills are required. Candidates with second language skills are encouraged to apply. Compensation:
$85,000 - $135,000 yearly (depending on years of experience and criminal defense exposure) Seniority level
