Our client is seeking a seasoned
Compensation Manager
to assist in the management, implementation, and administration of corporate compensation programs. This role will provide analytical, design, and consultative support across a variety of compensation initiatives, including base, variable, and executive compensation. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and strategic insight to ensure compensation programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Partner with HR and business leaders to consult on compensation strategies, including incentive program design and pay structure development. Administer and ensure consistent execution of base pay, variable compensation, discretionary bonuses, and executive pay programs. Conduct compensation research, job evaluations, and market pricing to support internal equity and external competitiveness. Develop and maintain compensation policies and recommend enhancements to ensure alignment with best practices and legal standards. Lead reward and recognition program design and administration. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to compensation. Participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking efforts; analyze market data and prepare detailed reports and presentations. Provide support for executive compensation programs and special projects as assigned. Contribute to communication strategies to increase employee understanding of reward programs. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging compensation practices. Hire, coach, mentor, and provide guidance to team members as needed. Maintain confidentiality and act as a trusted advisor on all compensation matters. Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in compensation program design, administration, and analysis. In-depth understanding of federal/state compensation-related laws and regulations. Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills required. Experience with benchmarking tools and compensation survey participation. Knowledge of executive compensation programs and compliance standards. Strong collaboration and communication skills with a focus on client service. Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required; MBA or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation a plus.
