A law firm seeks a transactional attorney in Mason City, Iowa, to assist, consult, and represent clients in estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate, business, and contractual matters.
Duties
Provide legal services for commercial, agricultural, and residential real estate transactions. Assist with estate and trust administration. Advise on business organization, counseling, and mergers and acquisitions. Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Negotiate and draft personal and business contracts, such as leases and employment agreements. Requirements
License to practice law in the State of Iowa or actively seeking licensure. Education
J.D. Certifications
License to practice law in Iowa. Skills
Strong negotiation and drafting skills. Proficiency in estate planning and real estate law. Cafeteria Plan with health, dental, vision, and AFLAC plans available. 401(k) eligibility after six months, including employer match up to four percent. Profit sharing eligibility after one year. Short-term and long-term disability. Group term life insurance. Paid parental leave. Payment/reimbursement for Bar Exam prep course fee, Bar Exam application fee, annual CLE fees, mileage, meals, and lodging.
