Full-time ROMTech is seeking an Instructional Designer & Content Developer to enhance knowledge delivery across the company. This role, within the Quality Control Training team, focuses on creating impactful learning content that educates, certifies, and empowers internal teams and external partners via ROMTech University and the Academy. You will design and maintain engaging, interactive, and accessible training programs that adapt to product updates, compliance standards, and operational best practices—ensuring learners are well-prepared, confident, and aligned with ROMTech’s standards of excellence. Responsibilities: Develop engaging, SCORM-compliant e-learning modules, assessments, and interactive experiences for diverse audiences. Create certification programs supporting role-specific development, compliance, and operational excellence. Convert technical and operational content into clear training materials across various formats (video, visual, written, interactive). Manage a centralized training library with controlled access, versioning, and clear ownership. Keep training content current by updating materials in response to product enhancements, regulatory changes, and SOP updates. Monitor content usage, effectiveness, and learner feedback for continuous improvement. Design content with accessibility, usability, and outcomes in mind—ensuring engagement and inclusivity. Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and operational leaders to ensure accuracy and instructional quality. Align learning objectives with performance outcomes to promote behavior change and operational impact. Success Metrics: Completion and certification rates across ROMTech University and the Academy. Learner satisfaction scores and qualitative feedback. Timeliness and accuracy of content updates following regulatory or product changes. Usage and compliance of version-controlled content library. Quality and clarity of the learning experience across roles and formats. Requirements: 3–5+ years of experience in instructional design, content development, or training within regulated or technical environments. Proven success in creating interactive e-learning and certification programs. Experience in healthcare, MedTech, SaaS, or complex operational organizations preferred. Strong portfolio of training assets or course samples (preferred). Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and e-learning development. Proficient in AI tools and prompt engineering to boost productivity and creativity. Skilled in authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar. Familiar with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards. Ability to simplify complex technical or procedural information for learners. Detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with SMEs and cross-functional teams. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, and using hands for computer work; vision abilities for close work.
