Neurology- NP- No Call, weekends, holidays

Join Our Team! Parkview Physicians Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice. The ideal candidate should possess excellent diplomatic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with intra- and interdepartmental team members, as well as community organizations. The candidate must be capable of multitasking and utilizing critical thinking skills to best serve our patients. Schedule and Responsibilities Monday-Friday, with no call, weekends, nights, or holidays All outpatient work Work location at PRMC with some outreach clinics Collaborate with 6 other neurology NPs and Neurologists Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives Assist with health assessments, strokes, seizures, and procedures Perform procedures such as Botox injections for headaches/migraines, occipital nerve blocks, and trigger point injections Manage patient appointments, patient calls/messages, and follow-up on lab and imaging results Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional) Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred Certifications as required by specialty (may include but are not limited to): BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS/ACLS-EP PALS ATLS CSR Parkview Physicians Group - Neurosciences Our team includes 10 physicians in neurology, neurointensive care, neurointervention, and neurosurgery, along with 8 Advanced Practice Providers specializing in nervous system diseases Parkview Regional Medical Center $575 million-dollar tertiary medical center opened in 2012 State-of-the-art 528-bed facility Comprehensive stroke center Operates the Samaritan Flight Program and hospital-based hospitalist and eICU programs Parkview Health Second largest healthcare system in Indiana Committed to providing high-quality care to northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio Region's largest employer with over 16,000 employees More than 1,100 providers in over 45 specialties across 300 locations Certifications and accreditations include: Certified Stroke Center Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center Accredited Chest Pain Center Named one of Forbes' top employers Come join our Neurology team!
