Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position. VTG is seeking an on-site Program Manager for a (To Be Awarded) $250m contract at NRO in Chantilly, VA and/or Los Angeles, CA. (Note: Contingent upon program award)
What will you do? The Program Manager, who will also serve as a SETA, has the authority and responsibility to provide overall direction and management for this contract effort. This role requires full dedication to the project, overseeing program management and all SI functions.
Responsibilities include maintaining an organizational structure supporting planning, assigning, directing, controlling, and reporting on efforts under this contract. The Program Manager is responsible for overall contract performance and conduct of subcontract or consultant personnel.
Effective program management of the SI Contract involves staffing, work breakdown structure compliance, training, budget planning and execution, schedule performance, and subcontractor management. Proactive communication of management issues to the Government is encouraged. The management approach should be flexible to accommodate surges or reductions in launch enterprise needs. Ensuring team continuity, promptly notifying the Government of personnel changes, and fostering teamwork across contractor and government teams are essential.
Key tasks include: Providing and implementing a Program Management Plan (PMP) covering organizational structure, management approach, subcontract management, staffing, security, OCI, and communication. Providing monthly Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSR). Submitting invoices and supporting information timely, utilizing the Government Asset Cost Segregation (ACS) tool for proper cost allocation. Providing and implementing a Contract Closeout Plan (CCP). Evaluating DoD and industry best practices for cost, schedule, and technical performance; supporting cost reduction initiatives; and implementing resource efficiencies. Staffing the contract with qualified, cleared personnel, including providing an organization chart and management structure, identifying Key Roles, and ensuring personnel meet the required skills and experience as per the Launch Enterprise Services Labor Categories.
Do you have what it takes? Requirements: TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance 20+ years experience in the Space community PMP certification NRO experience Desired: 10 years experience in Launch NRO/OSL experience VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $180,000 - $230,000 annually, depending on experience, education, skill level, market factors, and contractual considerations.
