Alamo NEX Construction, LLC is part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas. In 2021, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction Texas, LLC, and DBW, LLC (both Ferrovial subsidiaries), for the Interstate 35 (I-35) NEX Central Project, a $1.5 billion Texas Design-Build project involving non-tolled improvements along I-35, I-140, and Loop 1604, including adding managed lanes, connector bridges, and widening sections. Job Description: EMPLOYER: Alamo NEX Construction, LLC POSITION: Design Quality Control Manager WORKSITE: 7330 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78216 JOB DUTIES: Supervise, manage, and direct personnel; develop relationships with the owner or representative; anticipate conflicts and implement solutions; generate solutions to stay on time and budget; provide leadership and build relationships; ensure customer satisfaction; oversee quality control procedures and standards; certify design submittals and changes; coordinate with TxDOT and quality control teams; oversee quality management system reviews; communicate across multidisciplinary teams; perform other leadership requests as needed. Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum Experience Requirement:
Four (4) years on large civil infrastructure projects valued at $200 million+ involving design-build or design-bid-build; experience managing engineering activities; proficiency with relevant software (Bluebeam Revu, Power Geopak, Procore, SharePoint); experience with mathematical concepts; two (2) years coordinating multidisciplinary teams; experience managing project budgets and cost control with MS Excel. Special Requirement:
Registered E.I.T., with PE registration or eligibility to apply within 6 months. Travel Requirement:
10% domestic travel within Bexar County or Texas training sessions. Apply online at:
