Annual Bonus This exciting role will be responsible for leading inventory optimization and materials flow at the facility and supporting high service levels, cost efficiency, and global supply chain agility. Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end materials management, SIOP/IBP processes, supplier performance, and sustainability initiatives. They are headquartered in the Fort Mill, SC area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV Modules for the renewable energy industry. Strategic Inventory Management Develop and manage inventory strategies to maintain 98%+ service levels with minimal carrying costs. Factor in long supplier lead times (2 weeks production + 4–5 weeks transit). Use advanced tools (ABC analysis, AI-driven forecasting, demand variability modeling). Apply JIT, FIFO, VMI, Kanban, and EOL planning techniques. Utilize ERP systems for real-time tracking and analytics. Manage materials across all company sites. 2. Demand Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment Collaborate with Sales to turn forecasts (e.g., promotions, new products) into inventory plans. Execute SIOP processes and lead meetings with actionable insights. Communicate supply risks (e.g., customs delays, shortages) to Sales and Leadership. Define KPIs: forecast accuracy, inventory turns, lead time improvements. Support supplier negotiations focusing on lead times, MOQ flexibility, and sustainability. Build a resilient supply base: qualify alternates, audit performance, create contingency plans. Work with compliance to simplify customs and reduce tariffs/duties. 4. Materials Flow Optimization Use PFEP and Lean principles to minimize handling and boost throughput. Lead warehouse automation (RFID, automated storage). Optimize SKU layout and apply JIT to reduce storage and handling costs. 5. Compliance & Continuous Improvement Oversee audits and weekly cycle counts to maintain >98% accuracy. Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective actions for discrepancies. Lead sustainability projects: reduce waste, use recyclable packaging, and track carbon metrics. Contribute to long-range (18–60 month) planning aligned with growth and financial goals. Mentor planning staff and promote data-driven decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering (required). MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain and knowledge in renewable energy systems/sustainability is preferred. 7–10+ years of experience in inventory/materials management is required. 5+ years in electronics, automotive, or semiconductor manufacturing. APICS CPIM, CSCP, and Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt+) certifications are preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse teams are required. Experience in ERP/SIOP implementation and managing BOMs, component obsolescence, and traceability. Proficient with ERP systems such as SAP MM/EWM or Oracle SCM. Proficient with Planning/Analytics software such as Power BI, Tableau, Kinaxis, and Blue Yonder. Experienced with statistical forecasting, safety stock modeling, and scenario planning. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, IPC-610) Salary Range: $103,000-135,000 per year with eligibility for up to 15% annual bonus Seniority level
