Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution, and program coordination of the Controls and SW platform solutions for Engines / Transmissions / Hybrid / Battery / Charging / eMotor Electronic Control Units (depending on the job posting).

The Controls Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing feasibility and cost assessments for Controls & SW for the vehicle/programs.
Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) as the primary interface with the Propulsion System Community.
Coordinating Controls Features development.
Defining the Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) aligned with overall program milestones and objectives.
Playing a key role in Controls & SW change management, quality assessment, and risk mitigation.
Working on complex systems, demonstrating the ability to work independently and within a team to deliver high-quality, robust technical solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience (5 years in automotive).
Ability to work in an Agile environment.
Previous experience as a Controls/SW developer, testing, or calibration engineer is a plus.
Fluent in English.
Proactive, takes ownership, and is accountable.
Additional qualifications are welcome; a willingness to learn is valued.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Driving Requirements:
Yes, driving a Stellantis vehicle is required for testing, driving on a track, moving vehicles within the facility, or relocating vehicles to other plants. Travel is approximately 15% within the Metro Detroit area.
