ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Senior Product Manager, focused on the Carrier Experience, you’ll lead the strategy, design, and delivery of carrier-facing technology that complements ITS’s proprietary Transportation Management System (TMS). Your mission is to build intuitive, scalable solutions that enhance how carriers engage with our platform—from onboarding and communication to load execution, payment, and long-term relationship management.
You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams—including engineering, operations, marketing, and carrier sales—to define and execute a product vision that elevates the digital carrier experience. Through ongoing feedback loops, including a Carrier Advisory Board, you’ll ensure our tools align with real-world needs and evolving market expectations. This role plays a critical part in deepening carrier engagement, improving operational efficiency, and reinforcing ITS’s commitment to a modern, carrier-first experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the product roadmap for carrier-facing technology in alignment with company transportation goals
Deliver intuitive, self-service experiences that reduce manual effort and increase carrier satisfaction and retention
Lead the Carrier Advisory Board and champion the voice of the carrier throughout the product lifecycle; collect insights through interviews, data analysis, and frontline feedback
Align product execution with business value by engaging stakeholders and cross-functional teams early and often
Collaborate cross-functionally to turn user insights into high-impact product requirements
Define and maintain a clear view of the Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) for carrier products
Define scope and deliver high-impact features quickly, with a bias toward iteration and learning
Establish and monitor KPIs that reflect carrier adoption, engagement, retention, and operational efficiency
Run user testing and support UAT to ensure product quality prior to deployment
Monitor competitive offerings and market trends to keep ITS’s carrier experience ahead of the curve
Evangelize a product mindset across the organization, keeping the voice of the carrier central to decision-making
JOB REQUIREMENTS
5–10+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Freight Brokerage, or Supply Chain
Carrier Sales experience is a major plus
3–5+ years of Product Management experience with end-to-end ownership of product delivery Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES First-hand experience with how brokers, shippers, and carriers interact within a modern 3PL or transportation network Deep passion for improving carrier relationships through better tools, visibility, and workflows Proven track record of leading agile teams and shipping intuitive, carrier- or partner-facing products Strong prioritization skills and the ability to make informed tradeoffs in high-stakes, fast-moving environments Ability to translate complex logistics challenges into intuitive, carrier-first solutions Clear and confident communicator across technical teams, executives, and frontline reps High emotional intelligence—comfortable mentoring others, managing stakeholders, and fostering a collaborative product culture Must reside in Reno, NV or be willing to relocate to Reno, NV Apply for this job
