Role Summary
As a Sr. Supply Chain Project Manager, you will serve as the MSP Variant Launch Manager within Supply Chain Program Management. You'll be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, meticulously tracking project timelines, and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives for all R2 and R3 variant introductions. Your core mission is to ensure Rivian's supply chain can meet the aggressive timing, scope, and cost objectives of these high-profile launches. Your primary internal customer will be the Rivian Vehicle Line Manager accountable for each R2 and R3 variant. This position is based onsite in Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
Drive on-time completion of all supply chain activities for R2 and R3 variant introductions Act as the primary voice for supply chain, assessing the impact of engineering and content changes on vehicle cost and production launch timing Proactively identify and clearly communicate supply chain risks to internal stakeholders and senior leadership Own supply chain data management, analysis, and reporting across various platforms (Google Workspace, Excel, SAP, Tableau, Confluence, Jira) Manage short-term projects and ad-hoc requests to support business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related analytical field 3+ years of supply chain experience, ideally in the automotive, aerospace & defense, or advanced manufacturing industries Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams Exceptional problem-solving abilities and comfort navigating ambiguity. Proficiency in building clear and concise data visualizations for executive-level audiences Experience supporting supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operations for automotive products is highly preferred Ability to travel as required
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Irvine, CA-Area Based Applicants:
$98,500 - $123,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary:
Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.

Role Summary
