Job Description : Lead Supplier Quality Engineer - Electromobility Vehicles Battery positions offered by Volvo Group North America (Greensboro, NC). Monitor the quality of the development and the industrialization of new products at the Volvo Group suppliers. Ensure suppliers are delivering according to project specifications and time plans, and that they can produce parts according to the specifications with correct and sustainable quality and volume levels. Implement improvement plans with suppliers as needed to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards. Provide relevant supplier data to support sourcing decisions. Serve as a liaison between operations plants and suppliers during production, minimizing disturbances by steering improvements and ensuring solid actions at suppliers. Minimum Requirements : - Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in quality and supply chain management. Alternatively, a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields with 1 year of relevant experience. - 1 year of experience performing project management using APQP and PPAP methodologies. - Up to 40% domestic and international travel required. Experience may be acquired concurrently.
