Provide effective leadership in a matrix organization. Manage the initiation, planning, execution, and closing of projects, including defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline, and OBS structure, building a comprehensive work plan, and controlling risks, scope, schedule, and budget. Lead teams, facilitating commitment, productivity, and resolving obstacles. Oversee the implementation and management of quality and environmental processes to ensure SPI and CPI performance indicators meet goals (less than 1.0). Manage third-party projects, including coordination with other transmission owners and interconnecting customers. Ensure successful outcomes in cost and budget management, communication, change management, schedule management, construction and commissioning oversight, risk management, and regulatory/stakeholder engagement. Be the primary point of contact for contractors and clients on all project matters, ensuring clear communication and resolving contract disputes related to costs, scope, and schedule. Monitor and measure project performance throughout the lifecycle. Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in large-scale project/program management within the utility sector. Bachelor’s degree required. PE license and/or PMP certification preferred (subject to client approval). Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Minimum five (5) years of experience in relevant functional areas such as Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro, or OSG.
