Senior Power Platforms, Software Developer
Due to a busy period, our client is seeking a Senior Power Platforms, Software Developer to join their team based in the South Eastern suburbs. This will be a hybrid role, combining office and remote work, on an initial 8-month contract with a possible 6-month extension. The role: Our federal government client is expanding its investment in the Microsoft 365 Platform to meet increasing demand in the Power Platform space. To support current and future projects, a technical Power Platform functional specialist is needed to undertake various technical activities within the Microsoft Applications team, ensuring successful program delivery. The team employs agile practices and emphasizes continuous review and improvement. The environment fosters innovation and provides the necessary technology and autonomy for delivery. As a technical Power Platform functional specialist, you will work on diverse activities in a dynamic environment that embraces change. Operating within an agile, collaborative team, you will prioritize individuals and interactions over processes and tools, and working software over comprehensive documentation. Collaborating with a high-performing DevOps team, you will contribute to delivering solutions that support the clients strategic and operational goals. Key responsibilities: Develop and adapt solutions to meet specified requirements. Provide technical advice aligned with overall solution design, architecture, and framework. Respond to production issues and perform routine maintenance as needed. Complete assigned development tasks by their deadlines. Exercise sound judgment when managing unexpected or competing project priorities. Contribute actively throughout all stages of project delivery. Work effectively and independently within a dispersed, multidisciplinary team. Promote a team-oriented approach and foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Experience and Skills required: Australian citizenship and AGSVA Security clearance are essential. At least 5 years of demonstrated functional and technical experience. Experience with the Power Platform, including configuring dashboards, forms, tables, fields, views, business process flows, security models, and automation via Power Automate, workflows, and business rules. Ability to manage multiple competing project priorities effectively. A customer-focused approach to project solutions. Proactive problem-solving skills with minimal supervision. Ability to develop and implement data migration plans. Understanding of how SharePoint and the Power Platform integrate within the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
