Overview: The Division of Pediatric Neurology at Nationwide Children's Hospital comprises 29 pediatric neurologists and offers fellowships in Clinical Neurophysiology, Neuromuscular Genetic Therapeutics, and Headache. The faculty provides neurocritical care, inpatient and ED consultations, and manages a 10-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Over the past five years, the division has secured an average of over 14 million dollars annually in extramural research funding. Qualified candidates must have completed a residency in Child Neurology and be board certified or eligible in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and a dedication to teaching. Job Description Summary: Provides comprehensive medical care and treatment to pediatric patients. Essential Functions: Conducts patient assessments and diagnoses medical conditions. Develops, implements, and monitors treatment plans, adjusting as necessary. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to aid diagnosis and treatment. Communicates effectively with patients and families to provide education and support. Maintains accurate medical records and coordinates care with healthcare team members. Participates in training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Stays current with medical research and advancements to ensure quality care.

Physical Requirements:
