Overview
Merrick & Company is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Project Manager position in our Water and Wastewater practice in our Denver, Greenwood Village, Colorado Springs, or Loveland, Colorado offices. This position requires an experienced project manager with a successful track record in winning and delivering projects. A part-time schedule may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Salary Range : $125,000 - $162,000. Base pay varies depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Role Responsibilities
Manage multidisciplinary teams on water and wastewater projects.
Contribute to strategic planning, including growth, delivery, staffing, and financial performance.
Adopt and implement company policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding project scope.
Prepare and oversee fee proposals.
Lead design teams, review designs, prepare construction documents, and ensure project delivery.
Exhibit initiative and sound judgment.
Maintain strong interpersonal skills for client and community interactions.
Travel may be required.
Candidate Requirements
Extensive knowledge of water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure.
Proven success in business development, project management, and managing schedules/budgets for complex civil engineering projects.
Experience with client development, proposal preparation, and interviews.
Management experience with design teams and subconsultants.
Ability to build positive relationships with clients and agencies.
Ability to perform independent design and review tasks, prepare technical documents, and manage project efforts.
Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months.
Proven success in business development and client satisfaction.
15+ years in infrastructure engineering; 5+ years in project management of municipal water projects.
Strong technical design skills.
Effective communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
Envision credential preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
