Responsibilities Manage a team of SOC Analysts, ensuring complete shift coverage and effective shift schedules. Develop and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Prepare detailed reports from security tools and conduct root cause analysis as needed. Collaborate with technical leadership to manage issue escalations. Track and manage the training and development of all personnel. Plan and track monthly patching procedures. Coordinate maintenance windows with customers. Maintain all SecOps-related documentation Primary Qualifications Previous management experience in a NOC/SOC environment. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance. 10+ years of technical experience. Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management practices. Proficiency in using and managing security information and event management (SIEM) tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team effectively. Differentiators Familiarity with government compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and DISA. Experience working with Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSSPs). Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification. Hands-on experience with incident response and handling, including conducting post-incident reviews and developing improvement plans. Proven ability to implement and manage advanced threat detection technologies, such as intrusion detection systems (IDS) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS). Location This role is offered as a hybrid position based out of our Sterling, VA office. The base salary range for this position is between $135,000-$150,000 based on experience.
