Business Development Manager (Farmer)

to manage and grow strategic client relationships in the

Media & Entertainment (M&E)

sector. This role focuses on driving account growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, aligning our technology and service offerings with the evolving needs of content creators, broadcasters, OTT platforms, and production studios. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts in the Media & Entertainment vertical. Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders across technical, business, and executive levels. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and lead end-to-end sales cycles within existing clients. Work closely with internal teams—solutions, delivery, product, and marketing—to develop client-specific strategies. Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs), forecast pipeline revenue, and track account performance. Stay informed on M&E industry trends, client technology roadmaps, and competitor offerings. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and account retention. Support contract renewals, pricing strategy, and long-term partnership development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Media Studies, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of account management/business development experience, with at least 3+ years in the

Media & Entertainment

industry. Proven track record in managing and expanding key accounts. Strong understanding of media production, distribution workflows, or digital content ecosystems. Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a consultative sales environment. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of broadcast, OTT, VFX, post-production, or streaming platforms. Familiarity with technologies used in M&E (e.g., cloud workflows, content delivery networks, video compression, digital asset management). Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce etc. Understanding of industry dynamics including licensing models, vendor ecosystems, and emerging platforms (e.g., AR/VR, AI in media). Seniority level
