Program Overview & Role

Ready to make an impact? Peraton is seeking a motivated NRO Communications and Satellite Control Network (SCN) Liaison in Colorado Springs, CO, to support our FROST program and provide satellite support to our government customer. The role involves real-time on-orbit support, launch ascent support, and End-of-Life operations for NOPS-supported activities, serving as the operational and engineering interface to the SCN. Work is performed at Schriever Garrison and includes satellite operations and health checks. Responsibilities

Initiate and submit Customer Service Requests, Incident Reports, and Telephone Requests. Review and coordinate External User RFCs and SCN RFCs, resolve Problem Reports. Coordinate maintenance actions, support meetings, telecoms, and installations. Assist with circuit cut-over testing and verification. Update and brief daily slides for commanders and lead/brief the PR Working group. Escort maintenance personnel and perform software maintenance actions on NOPS SCN WANIUs. Update passwords, provide launch and operations engineering support, and participate in Factory SCN Compatibility Tests (FACT). Qualifications

Required Experience: Active TS/SCI with POLY clearance. High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in space operations, maintenance, or related fields. Experience in space communications circuit management. Ability to work shifts supporting mission operations. Desired Experience: Experience with NRO communications preferred. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Details
