Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced Probate Attorney to assist with the administration of estates, probate processes, and asset distribution. The ideal candidate will have experience in probate litigation, estate planning, and guiding clients through legal matters such as tax concerns and wealth transfer strategies. This position requires strong knowledge of Nevada probate law, estate planning principles, and exceptional drafting and negotiation skills. Location: Duties: Assist clients with the administration of estates, the probate process, and asset distribution Guide clients through the preparation and filing of judicial documents required for probate proceedings Advise clients on estate-related tax matters, creditor claims, and compliance with statutory deadlines Prepare and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives Structure estate plans to address tax concerns, asset protection, and wealth transfer strategies Advise clients on succession planning and generational wealth transfers Represent clients in probate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary claims Negotiate settlements and resolve conflicts through mediation and arbitration Draft and review trust agreements, beneficiary designations, and transfer documents for asset titling Prepare legal correspondence, petitions, motions, and settlement agreements Requirements: J.D. degree from an accredited law school License to practice law in Nevada Strong knowledge of Nevada probate law and estate planning principles Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and research skills Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications: Active license to practice law in Nevada Skills: Strong knowledge of probate law and estate planning Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and research skills Ability to handle complex, sensitive legal matters Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines Professionalism and confidentiality Competitive starting salary (based on experience) Bonus opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment
