Compensation The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $78,200.00 to $130,400.00.

Position Details The

Manager, Incident & Emergency Management

provides daily management and support necessary for the successful creation, development, communication, and execution of EP&R Programs. The primary objective is to stay attuned to market-based natural & man-made disaster trends in order to quickly identify, assess, and design opportunities that capture market share and increase profitable revenue for the organization at the best cost to serve.

You Will

Understand key drivers and needs of end customer segments when preparing for or responding to emergencies. Develop an understanding of key objectives and goals to develop and implement programs and processes that support business and field execution needs.

Create and implement strategies to support broader EP&R initiatives. Work cross-functionally and collaborate for integrated strategy execution and deployment.

Manage critical response components for large-scale natural & man-made disasters.

Coordinate on-site Grainger responders deployed to EOCs in affected markets.

Develop Emergency Response policies, procedures, roles & responsibilities.

Develop & coordinate training exercises to ensure state of readiness.

Support the effective development & management of the EP offer across various channels.

Lead debrief sessions to drive continuous improvement following disasters.

Serve as a key conduit between internal departments (inventory management, supply chain, branch operations, customer service) to enable leverage of sales resources & streamline organizational collaboration in crisis situations.

Build processes to improve response capabilities, including gathering and vetting input, building workflows, and creating optimization suggestions based on data and analytics.

Monitor public sector EP grant funding streams & distill into actionable guidance.

Work cross-functionally to establish key messaging and action plans to position EP offer as a key differentiator vs. competitors in contract solicitations.

Develop project plans, monitor progress, and identify risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, working with legal teams to ensure compliance.

You Have

Master's Degree (MA/MS/MBA) or equivalent preferred.

Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules and lean budgets.

Proven track record of establishing strong relationships with field and headquarters employees.

Decision-making & risk management skills based on analytics and facts.

Ability to anticipate trends and take timely action.

Knowledge of industry and customer requirements across various market segments.

Success in developing EP&R programs in a B2B environment.

Effective project management, planning, and facilitation skills.

Willingness to travel 50-70% nationwide.

Residence in a major metro market (Airport Hub).
