Overview
The Program Manager V manages the overall execution of the project and coordination of the project team by communicating with stakeholders, managing project reporting on deliverables, supporting project delivery and aligning with the company’s overall goals.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish effective project or program oversight and other governance bodies, and engage the appropriate stakeholders to support the direction of the project or program, and enable a superior customer experience Develop complex project plans to support successful project delivery Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget Engage project stakeholders and communicate project updates to ensure buy-in and project success Manage expectations of all project stakeholders, at all levels, from the project team to the project executives Manage multiple projects, project resources, and project governance Manage project resources, including procuring, developing, motivating, coaching, and advising project staff Mentor, coach, and assist in directing the work of several project managers and team members, each responsible for an element of the project and its associated project team
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Business / Commerce (Bachelor's degree) or Engineering (Bachelor's degree) or Related Field of Study (Bachelor's degree) Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
OR (14) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR (8) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. OR (5) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.
Experience managing medium to complex programs, with strong working knowledge of program management standards, methodologies and operating procedures. PMP Certification is preferred. Proven success of on-time/on-budget project delivery Experience with space systems, CCA and silicon development programs Experience managing programs using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Experience with government-funded programs, such as FAR/D-FAR
Additional Information
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law. Pay Range: $125,000 - $159,000 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
