Position Overview Phoenix VA Radiology Service is seeking a Board-Certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist with a mix of General Radiology skills (No Mammo required). New Fellows and 2025 Graduates are encouraged to apply! About the Department The Radiology Service at Phoenix VA Health Care System provides subspecialty, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency radiology services to Veterans across central Arizona. The department employs over 130 staff across 9 divisions, including: Staff Radiology Vascular and Interventional Radiology CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Diagnostic Radiology, MRI, and Clerical Services Currently, 24 radiologists provide subspecialty and general coverage. Qualifications
ABR-certified or ABR-eligible Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal imaging preferred Ability to perform joint injections, arthrograms, joint aspirations Experience in clinical radiology with an understanding of subspecialist functions Valid medical license in at least one state Responsibilities
Split time between MSK radiology (approx. 60%) and general radiology Maintain certifications, including BLS Participate in resident and trainee education Work Location & Schedule Work at Phoenix VA Medical Center or other sites as determined. Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Compensation & Benefits
Salary up to $400,000 + bonuses Student Loan Repayment (EDRP) up to $200,000 Sign-on bonus may be available 50-55 days PTO, federal holidays, CME leave Federal retirement, health, dental, vision, life insurance Reimbursement for CME ($1,000/year), malpractice coverage Employment Requirements
