Services include diagnostic assessment, treatment, and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary treatment team. The Psychiatric Adult Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality professional consults, emergency, and inpatient psychiatric services at University Hospital or Community Campus. Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered Psychiatric NP (specialty area of certification must align with practice). Master’s Degree, NPI number, DEA certification, medical malpractice insurance, and Medicare enrollment with Medicare ID or PTAN. National Certification through AANP or ANCC before hire. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in emergency psychiatric services preferred. 1-2 years of clinical practice preferred. Work Schedule:
